Spring Cares..a committee to help our neighbors! (Volunteers needed)

The Spring Avenue Cares committee is a PTO program that keeps a connection between our school and our community when families are in need of assistance.  The program acts as resource for helping families with a quick place to turn and ask for help with basic everyday family tasks (meals, carpooling, laundry, etc...) that become a challenge when a family is suffering from an illness, a parent out of work and/or any stressful family situations

At this time, we are looking for people for our volunteer list. Please keep in mind that this is an adult volunteer program and note that confidentiality is of utmost importance due to the sensitive nature of each family situation. How it works is that, if a need arises from one of our school families, we will set up a schedule and ask the volunteers from our list to pick a time to make a meal, do a load of laundry, shovel snow or drive a child to an after school activity.  The level of commitment is completely up to you - you can choose to help with one activity or several and pick the days and times that work with your schedule.

If you are interested in adding your name to our volunteer list, please click on this link and fill out our volunteer sign-up form.  If you are a past volunteer and interested in volunteering again, we still ask that you click on the link and complete the form.
