The Adult Social is coming up on Friday, January 31, 2020. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Spring Avenue PTO.

In preparing for this event, we are asking families to participate in donating/hosting parties for kids and adults!

This is how it works:

ADULT PARTY

Volunteers offer to host a party (oftentimes families choose to host with others)
When you host an adult party, you receive $10 from the PTO for each attendee. I.e. if 40 guests attend, the PTO will give you $400 to offset the party cost.
Together with the PTO, the hosts determine a ticket price for your party. Everything over $10 is a direct donation to the PTO. Hosts choose how many tickets will be available.
Some extra-amazing hosts donate the entire party!
Adults sign up for the party and a pay a "ticket price" on the auction web site in conjunction with the Adult Social on January 31.

Past parties include: Around the World party, Oktoberfest, Girl's Night Out, Oscar party, Family BBQ, Brewery Bus Tour

KID PARTY

Parent donates entire cost of the party
One girl party and one boy party per grade
Think simple, the kids just want to get together
Adults sign their child up for the party and pay a "ticket price" on the auction web site in conjunction with the Adult Social on January 31.

Past parties include: Hair-do party, Waterslide party in a backyard, Pool party, Kickball party, Movie party

BIG TICKET AUCTION ITEMS

Ideas include: weekend getaway, Blackhawks tickets/memorabilia, a membership/class package to a local business, gaming system, etc.
