Box Tops Is Switching To Scan Only
See this image on your groceries? Download the box tops app and scan your receipt. Box tops is phasing out of clipping. More and more products are scan-only.
Get your groceries delivered? No problem, forward your receipt to receipts@boxtops4education.com and they will take care of the rest. Each product earns our school ten cents. We’ve earned almost $250.00 this year, but could earn so much more if every family participates!
Keep clipping the classic box top labels. Spring PTO will still hold collection drives until 2022 when the classic tops phase out. Next drive will be in April.

Variety Show 2020 Is Almost Here!
Save the date for February 28th! Dress Rehearsal February 25th!
Start thinking about your acts and get ready to have some fun!
Perform as a group or an individual. Groups must include all children by grade (all children in grade, grade level girls or grade level boys).
Please submit your act to: 2020springavevarietyshow@gmail.com. Songs will be given on a first come first serve basis in order of emails received.
Each act submitted must have a parent(s) representative who coordinates the performance and submits all details.
In subject line of email please include Variety Show and Grade of Student(s) (Ex. Variety Show, Grade 3)
Email submission must include: Name of act, song title & artist, names of students in act, name of parent representative(s) and if music will be recorded or played on stage.
Each act may be up to 3 minutes total.
Please submit act by Thursday, January 9th.
Show Us Your Act is Thursday, January 30th
This must be exactly what we will see on stage. Acts must be school appropriate.
Music and costumes (if doing any) must accompany your act.
We are looking for four 5th or 6th grade students to emcee the show and introduce each act. Please submit your name to 2020springavevarietyshow@gmail.com. Emcee's will be given on a first come first serve basis in order of emails received.
In subject line of email please include Emcee Variety Show, Student Name & Grade of Student (Ex. Emcee Variety Show, Jack Frost, Grade 3).

Host A Party for the Silent Auction!
The Adult Social is coming up on Friday, January 31, 2020. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Spring Avenue PTO.
In preparing for this event, we are asking families to participate in donating/hosting parties for kids and adults!
This is how it works:
ADULT PARTY
Volunteers offer to host a party (oftentimes families choose to host with others)
When you host an adult party, you receive $10 from the PTO for each attendee. I.e. if 40 guests attend, the PTO will give you $400 to offset the party cost.
Together with the PTO, the hosts determine a ticket price for your party. Everything over $10 is a direct donation to the PTO. Hosts choose how many tickets will be available.
Some extra-amazing hosts donate the entire party!

Past parties include: Around the World party, Oktoberfest, Girl's Night Out, Oscar party, Family BBQ, Brewery Bus Tour

KID PARTY
